LENT 2009

Day of reflection

“With God on our side…” (Rom 8:31)

This day of reflection, held entirely in English, gives us an opportunity to reflect on this truth that we so often fail to realise and yet which is central to our daily lives.

Using passages from Scripture and with the aid of various methods (creative, holistic…) we will reflect on what God´s promise to be „on our side“ actually means to us.
A day of quiet personal reflection, of seeing things anew and sharing in fellowship together.

Team: Hans Tschiggerl SJ, Angela Simek-Hall, M.A.

Date: Saturday, 7th March 2009 9 am - 5 pm
Cost: Euro 40,-- incl. lunch

Quiet days (Weekend retreat)

This bi-lingual retreat invites us to take time to seek God anew in the peace and quiet of a „weekend away“. Using the Bible (particularly Psalm 19) we will pray and reflect, together and individaully, experiencing God as a source of great joy and stength in the midst of our busy and often mixed-up lives.

This retreat, which includes individual prayer times, a daily meeting and talks on Ignatian spirituality, can be made with an English speaking retreat guide. All other communal meetings (e.g. morning prayer, evening Eucharist).will be conducted mostly in German.

Team: Berhard Bürglar SJ; Angela Simek-Hall, M.A.

Dates: Friday, 13th March 2009, 6 pm to Sunday 15th March, 5 pm.

SUMMER 2009

Quiet days (Weekend retreat)

„Come be my light“

These words, central to the life of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, are a challenge for each of us. We may use these words ourselves in our prayer to find Christ in our lives, and yet these are the very words that challenge us in our Christian vocation to seek faith and justice in today´s world.

This weekend retreat, which includes individual and communal periods of prayer and reflection, is held entirely in English.

Team: Hans Tschiggerl SJ; Angela Simek-Hall, M.A.

Dates: Friday,19th June 2009, 6 pm to Sunday 21st June 2009, 5 pm.
Cost: Euro 190,-- incl. accommodation and full-board
