Message from our spiritual leaders

Since I came in 1995, the pros and cons for an FCC web site have been discussed countless times. Several people also volunteered to do it, but for whatever reason it remained among the unimplemented plans for the community.

At last the right time has come! Through the initiative, perseverance, and dedication of some committed members of the community we are finally able to reach out to the majority (if not all) of our parishioners, and at the same time introduce and make our community known in the World Wide Web.

In the spirit of better and effective communication and in the name of service we invite and encourage everyone to make full use of our web site.

The arrival of the FCC Website is joyful news to me! Going "high-tech" is a big help in announcing The Message. I pray that through this internet home, we will not only share the goods and goodness of ourselves to all but, most importantly, the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. Congratulations and thanks to our web wizards. Happy viewing to all.

Asst. Chaplain

Not once in my life did I ever dream of studying in Austria and eventually serving the Filipino Catholic Chaplaincy, but I have no regrets. On the contrary, I am thankful for how God puts surprises into my life (truly, He knows best). I am now convinced that by being in Vienna, I am meant not only to update myself intellectually, but also to expose myself to pastoral life and challenges (this being my first parish exposure in my life as a priest). And, this can really help me grow integrally as a priest.

I hope that my stay and service here in the Chaplaincy will truly bear fruit in the spiritual life of the Filipino community. Such is my hope, and such is also the greatest fulfillment I can have as a priest!
